We know that getting out to the shops can be difficult sometimes. That is why we offer a complete shopping service. Your live-in carer can help you to make a shopping list and either take you to the shops or arrange for the shopping to be delivered to your home, where your carer will receive it and carefully put it away for you. We can also help with clothes shopping, special purchases and buying presents for birthdays and Christmas – your carer will even help you to wrap them!

We know that looking your best is just as important to you as it always has been. We can arrange for hairdressers and beauticians to visit you at your home on a one off or regular basis. If you would rather take a trip to the salon for your treatments then we can arrange transport to take you there and back. All of our hairdressers and beauticians love working with our clients and often their visits prove to be a real highlight of our clients’ week.
Legal Advice
Our Managing Director, Anthony Benskin is a Solicitor and a Partner of a firm of Solicitors where he advises on Wills, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Matters. Anthony is a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners and also advises on Inheritance Tax Planning, Estate Planning and Administration of Estates. We can arrange for you to meet with Anthony to have an initial chat to see if his firm (or perhaps another firm) could help with the legal advice that you require.
Household Maintenance
We know that finding trustworthy and reliable electricians, plumbers, handymen, gardeners etc. can be difficult. There is always a fear that they might take advantage of your situation and that you might end up getting ‘ripped off’. Quality Life UK has very strong relationships with a number of financial advice companies. We can arrange for you to have a free, no obligation, initial meeting (or telephone conference if you would prefer) with a qualified financial advisor to see if they can help you to manage your affairs and plan for the future.
Physiotherapy & Leisure
We can arrange for a qualified physiotherapist to visit you at your home or you can visit them at their clinic if you would prefer. A physiotherapist can help to keep you active with a personal programme of home activities and exercises. We can also arrange for you to be safely accompanied on a range of activities and outings from walks in the park, to visiting friends and families and going on day trips. We can also introduce you to local groups and clubs where you can meet new people and make new friends.
